Rogue twitter accounts began popping up this week for many of the nation’s public agencies after the Trump administration issued media blackout orders and deleted many of the tweets from their official accounts. But the latest protest account to surface is the most terrifying of all: @RoguePOTUSStaff. If legitimate, this group of West Wing insiders paints a dystopian picture that’s worse than we imagined possible.
Trump admits he wants to be king.
Our concern for over a year, that Trump wants to either be monarch or dictator, was confirmed in RoguePOTUSStaff’s very first tweet:
The tweets also confirm the Washington Post headline from a few days ago, saying “the leaks coming out of the Trump White House cast the president as a clueless child.”
An Executive Branch in disaccord.
White House Chief of staff Reince Priebus, Vice President Mike Pence, and House Speaker Paul Ryan, who the RoguePOTUSStaff calls the “#UnholyTrinity,” seem to be struggling to keep Trump on a “leash” and may have very sinister plans.
A narcissist who cares more about his popularity than his country.
In the tweets, RoguePOTUSStaff admits that Trump’s staff all knew his voter-fraud claims were false. However, Trump won’t stand down, even under pressure from his senior staff.
Trump acts out of spite even when he knows better.
As we all agreed throughout the campaign, there is no better Trump. And that certainly seems to be holding true, especially with regard to his vindictiveness, like his endless battle with the press. For example, the morning of Jan 28th, Trump lobbed another twitter tantrum against the New York Times and Washington Post, citing a story from months ago (note the misspelling, by the way)
This hasn’t been lost on the RoguePOTUS,Staff.
By the way, that last line has been a common theme as well, where it seems Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon and the UnholyTrinity have been jockeying for power all week.
But this may be the most frightening part of the whole narrative.
Trump may let his temper, insecurity, and vindictive narcissism overrule what he himself knows to be right. Don’t forget, Trump is the Commander-in-Chief, and the global economy sits on a razor’s edge for his every tweet.
The man who promised to work for the people only cares if it’s in his own backyard.
Trump’s populist message of caring about the everyman ran completely against his entire life of opulence and decadence. But he had his followers convinced. The true narrative is finally coming to light, however. Consider this tweet:
Rest assured, it won’t stop there.
Does Russia actually have blackmail material against Trump?
It seems the UnholyTrinity may think so. In the lead up to Trump’s call this weekend with Putin, the trio insisted on sitting in on the call. And when it was over, their fears were not allayed.
Is this Nixon v2.0?
In the lead-up to last week’s war of words with Mexico over funding of the wall, Mexican President Peña Nieto clearly pulled out of their upcoming meeting first. However, Trump was quick to claim that it was he who called it off. And in the lead-up, he was clearly trying to manipulate the message.
What is even more disturbing is the allegation that Trump is trying to use smoke and mirrors to mask his communications, the same way he cooked the books in his businesses.
And it seems the senior staff is trying hard to crack down on any staff who aren’t toeing POTUS’ line.
Can Reince Priebus take much more of this?
Of course, the tantrum is to be expected. But Priebus may not be able to take much more of Trump and could be contemplating resigning.
After that interview on Meet the Press
Just to be clear, this is happening after Trump has been in office for all of 9 days.
What if the RoguePOTUSStaff account is censored?
If we take them at their word, people are already trying to hack into the account.
Don’t worry, however. We are keeping a full archive of all the tweets from this account, updated hourly, and will post it in its entirety here if it gets taken down. In the meantime consider following RoguePOTUSSTaff’s request to send a clear message to Trump that this is not the Presidency the American People want or will accept.
